Sabian is a most excellent server. Definitely request his chai! Sabian makes a delicious holiday chai, it tastes like christmas in a mug. A warm cup of yuletide spirit, it is spicy and sweet which is perfect for the rainy weather

The croissant breakfast sandwich w/ Bacon is a MUST! && the blueberry scones are always delicious 10/10 The service is alway pleasant , haven't had a bad interaction to this day. Good ambience for a quick catch up w/ friends or needing to get some work done.

1st time here, everything was delicious and the service was awesome. So friendly, the restaurant is small but clean and well done. The special ice tea was delicious, the sandwiches were very good too. The gentleman that waited on us told us that the original owner still comes in to make a few of the staple menu items. Definitely going back.

Super place with more offerings than most coffee places. Cafe is true with a nice menu and many great selfie s for a treat. My Mango Iced Tea was a smooth delight. The store, including the restroom, is clean, new, and inviting. Quick to help, the transaction was easy, without a rush and followed my timing. Excellent experience.

It's so fresh... and so clean... from the crispy lettuce, to the shiny tables... and friendly service... I couldn't ask for more on a Friday. The bacon was so crisp too as well as the avocados and tomatoes.... That banana bread was "saved@ for later and is decadent. I was perusing through the reviews of my fave Stocktonian YELP Elites (iykyk)... and they influenced me to check it out today. They know the spots . Check out @Alissa M.'s reviews and Antonio D. I had a pleasant experience here. It was bright, peaceful, and quiet. I must've come at the right time. The service was just ok but I really enjoyed my lunch. I was also surprised by the look of the affogato! It was so cute. I thought it would be weird because it looked like butter and was rock solid, but I was told they make the ice cream in house. Oh my goodness I was wrong to judge. It was so creamy, sweet, and perfectly balanced with the espresso!

I can't believe this was my first visit to House of Shaw but I know it will not be my last. They've been on my list for a while now and today was the day. First of all, the location is great. It's right off the Miracle Mile which I love. I drive up and down Pacific Avenue a hundred times a week so it's also convenient. The inside is not very big but has several tables plus a few on the patio. I also noticed immediately how clean it was inside and I love that. Since I said it was my first visit they gave me a menu to look at and also gave me a menu to take with me. I decided on the California Turkey sandwich but on a croissant instead of the honey wheat bread. You have the option of chips, a side of fruit or a green salad. I chose the salad and was so glad I did because it was crisp, fresh and delicious dressed with a red wine vinaigrette. I could have had a whole salad. Both the sandwich and salad ingredients were very good quality and I enjoyed my lunch very much. There are several items on the menu I'd like to try including some of those desserts I was ogling. I tried a sample of Lemon Leche cake and it was AMAZEBALLS! I will definitely be back soon to have something sweet and maybe try a Turkish coffee. While they are definitely on the pricier side for lunch, I think that quality of the food plus the ambience is 100% worth it!
